i wish these vids …
i wish these vids were longer, i mean c’mon…..you tube will allow at least 10 minutes…..use it instead of 50 two-three minute clips that really are the most BASIC explanation you can fit. a bit more in depth would be great…..i like these vids but i dont want to have to try and find the next vid after about five or so……its annoying.

na man my buddy has …
na man my buddy has a “cheap amp” but it sounds awsome like it really does and it deffently is putting out what it says cause we tested it with a volt meter i’m really done talking about this though i wrote that so long ago i’m not going to say all cheap amps are good but not all of them are shity though…

@1kickass Who says …
@1kickass Who says youll even get 3kwrms out of it? You might only be getting 1kwrms at best. So it might not be a better deal. And also you have to factor in not only efficiency (with an amp that cheap it would pry suck ass) but also sound quality. I bet an amp rated for that and if it was extremely cheap (like $300~) Id say it would sound like horrible shit.

July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
my bad its stable …
my bad its stable at 4ohms regular bridged.how can i hook it up then?
July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
well, theres two …
well, theres two ways-1. you can hook up the single 6ohm regular (unbridged).that will run the sub at 6ohm, but not much power will go to it, cause the ohm is so high. 2. you can bridge the 6ohm svc (not recomm) but that will cause a great deal of resistance cause your dropping the speaker to 4ohm now!. and if i had to guess most 6ohm svc sub resistance down to 4.532 something like that and that will get more power! but its all how you wanna do it! hope this helps if not let me know!

get another 4 ohm …
get another 4 ohm subwoofer and wire them in series then you will be good to go no problems.if your tryin just one 4ohm sub. and if your amp is only stable at 8ohms (rare) then it would go into protect mode if it had one!

July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
hey guys i got a …
hey guys i got a question…….. ik its kinda stupid but i never thought about it……. if you had a 8ohm amp and a single 4ohm sub….. and put them together….. will it fry the amp? will it work? What would happen?

are you retarded?? …
are you retarded?? i said even if i’m only getting 3,000 watts true power i’m still getting a beter deal for half the price
July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
Not you since that …
Not you since that amp won’t put out 4000 watts.
July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
how have you blown …
how have you blown 4 systems??? what kind of amp do you have and what size wire kit are you buying for them and how good is your ground and if all your doing is blowing your subs then i would sugest turning your power down to what the rms on the subs says or half of what the max power says and you should be good for like ahundred yrs lol
July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
or instead of …
or instead of spending a arm and a leg on that high quality amp i’d rather buy a huge cheap amp that’s putting out like 4,000watts for the same price so worst comes to worst i’m getting 3,000 for half the price of that amp lol now who’s getting the beter deal???
July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
car audio …
car audio regulations are pretty loose. take legacy for example the stamp huge numbers for max wattage, like the 2400 watt legacy predator. says 2400 watts but it only pushes 600 rms.

Ok i’ve done the big 3 with all 0 guage wire i got a H/O alternator it puts out 220Amps but i still have my stock Battery
July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
Yes it is prolly …
Yes it is prolly true but if you look thats with a 14.4 volt rating rockford underrates a lot of their amps but you have to look at volt setting too if you have like 12volts you gettin a bit less power I suggest a big 3 upgrade and second battery and wit a amp that big an High Output alt.

So always hook up …
So always hook up atleast 4-ohms mono even 8-ohms mono and that will help your amplifier last for ever.

I paid 500.00 for …
I paid 500.00 for that 2502IQ and it was already 14 years old, and are to last for about 25-30 years if hooked correctly. Those Linear Power amps ask for a 8-Ohm loud for best results like sound quality and higher damping. Also they dont make no difference what you hook it up, 4-ohm and 8-ohm or even 2-ohm stereo, it will still give out the same. If the ohms is less it will just draw more current and stress a little more.
July 29th, 2010 at 11:47 am
Check out Linear …
Check out Linear Power amplifiers. They are the best money can buy. I have the 2502IQ which is rated at 125watts x 2 at 4-ohms. But I talked to Robert Rayfield (Linear Power TIPS) and he told me it could push TWO 12″ Strokers 1000watt each subwoofer. I tried it and that little amplifier pushed those two subwoofers like nothing, and it didnt even get close to warm. Its more like 600watts RMS and a peak of 2400watts due to TO3 transistors, 16 of them to be exact. Linear Power For The Love Of Music
