99 BMW 323i. I didn’t use it for 5 days. When I return, I notice that the speakers have lost clarity. Whenever I increase the volume, it doesn’t sound good anymore. Harman Kardon speakers- actually very good. I looked it up and I’m in no position to do any troubleshooting. How do you guys handle car-stereo/speakers issues? I’m new to the NJ are (in Bridgewater)- where would I take it to check it up? Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

Your problem sounds like you might have blown the speaker,If I were you I’d go on line type in car stereos,NJ
bridgewater you should get some stereo care places.

How do I transmit my stereo bluetooth from my bluetooth enabled phone to my car’s stereo? My car is already handsfree enabled, but does not support stereo bluetooth music streaming. I’ve been searching for some type of bluetooth receiver that has a 3.5 mm jack that will hook up to my car’s aux port, that way I can stream music wirelessly from my phone. Anyone have an ideas? I can’t seem to find such a device.

It’s hard to find such equipment, since it’s better for you to install a car stereo which can support music player itself, that’s the fastest way! I’m using an Eonon head unit, it can play the music as well as hand-free calling. Very nice unit!

The solar panel should be able to trickle charge the extra battery when stereo not in use. No extras like amplifiers or anything power drenching. Would a straightforward car battery work for this proposed set-up or any suggestions? I am adamant in using an extra battery so please adhere to this wishlist. I hope someone somewhere have tried this!

My neighbor is going to do this to power her travel trailer, you need a deep cycle marine battery and the solar cell company tells you how many panels you need, and how long you will be able to play the radio for before it needs recharging…

For those who don’t think this is possible just check this app Bluetooth Remote Control v.4.0. If this app can broadcast my desktop on my phone, surely is possible to stream some audio with a java app.It’s just needed for someone to create it

I’m looking for a ballpark figure, nothing exact. I’m wondering approximately how long I can have my car stereo on with my engine off without draining the battery down too far.

I have an aftermarket CD player which is 17 watts RMS per channel (45 maximum). I don’t have any amplifiers or subwoofers hooked up.

I *believe* it would be many hours, 12 or maybe even 24 hours if the battery is good. I once left an eight track playing in my VW from Friday at 4pm nonstop until Monday 8am! And the battery still started the engine!

The problem comes from having the ignition actually on, rather than on accessories. In the on or run position, other electrical circuits are energized and draw current as well, thus, causing a greater drain on the battery.
