A great deal of research and planning should go into this purchase since there is a lot to consider. Do you desire a nice upgrade of your factory speakers, are you looking for a Sound Quality overall of speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers, or are you designing a vision-blurring SPL machine? It is important to make a list of exactly what you are looking to replace or add to your audio system so that you can prepare your electrical system for the investment to come. Many people do not realize that their vehicles' factory electrical system was not designed for aftermarket audio equipment. In fact, most factory electrical systems can only handle an audio system of 600 to 1200 watts. The lower end of the scale being the smaller vehicles and most foreign rides, and the upper end being large trucks and sport utility vehicles. As you increase demand, you need to look at upgrading your battery, alternator and most importantly your "Big 3." ALTERNATORS The alternator powers the vehicle, all components and recharges the battery. A standard factory alternator ranges from 40 amps to 120 amps depending on vehicle. When the alternator is under high demand or the demand exceeds the alternators capability, your voltage will begin to fall and rely on the reserve of the battery. ***Tremendous bass 122*** a bonus video from the "Inked Magazine" photo shoot a few weeks ago. If you watched that video and heard me say "we shredded 4 magazines", when there was only 3 shown, this is the 4th one. Ken, shown in the video, showed up to the shop and wanted to hang out for the shoot. I ended up letting him try to hold a magazine to see if he could. Well he was doing good till that low note kicked in......and i think i might sliced him up a little in the process. I know when i was shredding the other magazines, i also could feel them cutting me a little. That port is BRUTAL! Inked magazine saw my "phonebook shred" video and wanted to come down and take some photo's......and see for themselves. They sent a box of magazines to go ahead and destroy inside of the port. The phone book has lighter paper so i figured the magazine, which is made of much thicker, better quality paper, would be a little tougher. I was wrong. It takes 4 seconds of bass to completely obliterate a magazine. The photographer was taking pictures so we did it a few times for him to get the good shots. I also had a friend over who tried, and failed to hold on to the magazine....we did 4 total. ********************** 4 18's and 30000 watts Rockford Fosgate power vs a Couple of INKED magazines.. Car stereo?!?!?
I'm getting all new stereo stuff for my car! I have a pioneer deck picked out…I'm gettin 2 new pioneer 12s…what size amp do i need to push those…amps are expensive so i want only what i absolutely have to have! And is it true that if i buy my stuff from circuit city they will install it for free? I know they will on the deck but what about the speakers and amp?!?! Also, I have a 2002 cavalier LS…does anybody know what size speakers are in the doors and the back?!?!

Is PPI a good brand for car stereo amplifiers?
IF THE AMPLIFIER IS NEW YES IT IS OK BRAND BETTER THAN PIONEER IF THE AMPLIFIER IS OLD LIKE FROM 1988 TO 2001 IT ISA GREAT ONE OF THE BEST AMPLIFIERS AWW SORRY FOR THE CAPS
